Shatta Wale has once again done what he always does best, which is to create controversy out of nothing and get himself trending on every major platform around the country.
The ‘dancehall king’ during his performance in the U.K, called Ghana a village and tried to get his fans to go along and also dub Ghana a village, although most of them were uncomfortable with shouting that out loud.
Anyway, Shatta Wale has taken a beating on social media for his words as Ghanaians slam him for calling his country a ‘village’ whilst in Europe for Europeans to take up and mock us.
But Shatta, as usual, has no intention of backing down and he’s instead defending his opinion.
He listed numerous problems with Ghana and said that’s why he called us a village.
He wrote on twitter…
I’ll continue to #GhanaIsAVillage until I start seeing change .., yes I craze .. Wetin better ,country wey hospitals no get bed, Roads all spoil,if leader sick either dem fly out or chopper picks them during accidents ,where the ambulances Dey .. We Dey Village stop the nonsense
