Legendary Ghanaian highlife musician, Rex Owusu Marfo, popularly known as Rex Omar has said he sees nothing wrong with songs with explicit content.

Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s ‘Daybreak Hitz’ show with Andy Dosty, the ‘Abiba’ hitmaker stated that there is nothing wrong secular music but rather how people interpret the song that makes it look as if it’s bad.

“There is nothing like a profane song it’s just how people read meanings to it”, he told Andy Dosty.

Rex Omar added that most of the profane songs are even good for educating the general public about sex.
