Ghanaian boxer, Bukom Banku has said that bleaching made him very beautiful in the past and he doesn’t look fine again ever since he stopped.
Bleaching is something that is normal among the Ga people. If you pay a visit to a Ga community you would realize that almost all the people there have bleached, either just their face or their entire body. Bukom Banku is one of the people who will welcome you with a bleached face when you visit his town.
He has revealed that bleaching made him “beautiful” and he is proud of his fresh appearance.
To him, many classic people the world recognize have either tone or bleached their skin, and this has always been his source of motivation for bleaching.

Though Ghanaians have criticized him so much for bleaching, he says he does not care about what they say or do. He used Daddy Lumba and Michael Jackson as one of the big stars who are still nice after bleaching.
