I Have Quit Politics Because I Can’t Take Any More Insults ─ Maame Dokono

Published by

Ghanaian actress born Grace Omaboe and popularly known as Maame Dokono has stated that she has quit politics permanently.

In Ghana whenever someone is involved in politics, even the young ones insult the person as though he or she is their age mate and Maame Dokonor is one of such victims.

To Maame Dokonor, she can no longer expose herself to the insults and public disregard for her as a result of her political affiliation.

“The disgrace and insults I received for going into politics openly was too much for me. I have learnt my lessons and will not go into politics again. Even if I will go into politics, I will be behind the scenes and not as openly as did in the past”, she said.
