Ghanaian highlife legendary musician, Nana Tuffour has disclosed that even though uprising Ghanaian musicians are doing well but they are not on the right path.
According to him, artists like Kidi, Kuami Eugene and even the ‘CCTV’ hitmaker, King Promise are good but they refuse to involve passion in their songs, which will make their songs remain forever in the hearts on their listeners.
He said, “King Promise, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, I like their reflexes and voices. What is left with them is the lyrics. They don’t elaborate, that brings in the passion, so the songs never die.
“If you sing in a simple manner, people will dance and have the feel but it didn’t come from your heart. The lyrics should always be explained further so people can relate it to life,” he advised further during his speech on Hitz FM’s Daybreaks Hitz.
