Medikal Confirms Switching Sister Derby For Fella Makafui — Clears The Air About Everything That Happened

The case of Sister Derby and Medikal is only going to get more interesting as the days go by, with Medikal now also coming out to completely clear the air about what happened.

The past week or two has been filled with news about the breakup of the relationship between former lovebirds Samuel Adu Frimpong and Deborah Owusu-Bonsu.

Their breakup of course was fuelled by Medikal’s ‘bestie’ and now girlfriend, Fella Makafui, who snatched him right out from under the unwatchful eyes of Derby.

If ladies needed anymore reason to be suspicious of their men claiming their best friend is a woman, this is it.

A while ago when news of the breakup came out and they both denied it like hell; but it’s now been confirmed, first by Derby and then Medikal.

Even diss songs have entered the game, with Derby releasing ‘Kakalika Love‘ and Medikal promising a response in his own diss song to be released today.

Before the song however, the hiplife star spoke to Showbiz about his current relationship status.

“Everything you hear about me, Sister Derby, [and] Fella Makafui is true. Sister Derby and I are no more together, although I do not want to go into details.” Medikal said.

“I would just say it is way deeper than what people think; a lot has gone on. The breakup did not happen today, it happened sometime ago; and it is just unfortunate that people are now getting to know it.

“The truth of the matter is that, Fella Makafui and I have been friends for a long time, long before Deborah and I started dating. And yes, I am with Fella Makafui now,“ he told Showbiz.

Medikal promised that everything would be clear after he releases his response to Derby, a song titled ‘Ayekoo’.

“I know a lot has been going on but I would say people should just wait for me…, I intend to address the issue and it will be via my new single titled ‘Ayekoo’.

“Honestly, as an artiste, there is no better way to deal with issues than through music. We express ourselves best through the songs we do and that is the medium I want to use to deal with the issue.

“After tomorrow, people will understand why I made certain decisions and why I have remained silent on all this since it started. I was just waiting for the right time to do it and I feel the right time is now.”
