US-based Ghanaian evangelist Emmanuel Addai has been branded a madman in the past but with his recent troubles, more allegations are being levelled against him.
Addai is known for making outrageous comments against Ghanaian public figures, with some of his favourite targets being Osei Kwame Despite and Abeiku Santana.
Recently, he was trending following reports that Kofi Adoma is suing him for defamation.
Since then more allegations have been made against him including one by a family member that he is a wife beater.
According to this family member, who is an uncle of Addai’s wife, he is a wife beater who has assaulted his wife and mother of his three kids in the past.
The uncle claimed the wife was unhappy with some songs Addai was playing in the house and after she complained he assaulted her.

According to him, the beatings were so severe that she had to pack her things and come and stay with him and eventually, he settled their differences for them.
“His wife told him (Addai) to apologize to me which he did. Because of the beatings, his wife moved in to stay with me but after the issue was settled, he was called to come for his wife, which he came to move her back to his house”.
He added that after settling their differences and restoring the marriage Addai went ahead to describe him as an ‘Illuminati’ and other crazy stuff so he’s not surprised he’s able to do same to people like Despite.
He added that he doesn’t believe Addai is mad as others have claimed, but he’s simply doing what he does to make money.
