The first wife of Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, Mrs Christine-Marie Nyantakyi has revealed that their kids refused to go to school over trolls by school and classmates in the wake of Anas’ Number 12 expose’ which their father happened to be the centre of the expose’.
Mrs Christine-Marie Nyantakyi in an exclusive interview with Paul Adomako Okyere on Metro TV’s ‘Good Evening Ghana’ program recalled how worried their kids were in the wake of the expose’.
“It’s very bad. I remember when the news was all over that my husband has been arrested; I went to pick my daughter from school and immediately she saw me, she run to me and emotionally asked ‘Mum, is it true daddy is going to jail?’She started to cry, I hugged her and told her daddy is not going to jail”, She said.
She added that;
“She [my daughter] also complained to me that her friends at school keep telling her that her dad is in trouble. They have gone through a lot but with the help of the school’s principal, we have a counsellor for them to help them and myself. They were absent from school for four [4] days when the issue started and the recent FIFA ban has worsened the issue”.
Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi has been banned from all football-related activities by world football governing body, FIFA after a thorough investigation into Anas’ number 12 expose. He was also fined CHF 500,000 as part of his punishment.
