Ruftown Records signee, Wendy Shay performed at the just ended Mis Malaika competition which saw Mariam adjudged as the winner of the competition.
The singer was dressed in a jumpsuit for her performance and most of her fans have praised her for not revealing her old lady like botors.
Wendy Shay who has not been able to win the hearts of Ghanaians ever since she got signed on Rufftown records walked out on Joynews’ journalist MzGee for asking who Wendy shay was. She did this simply because, to her the question was dumb.
This caused a lot of controversies in Ghana making Sarkodie to plead on her behalf.

A social media user has stated that Wendy Shay is a confused person who lacks talent. According to her, Wendy Shay has never been herself ever since she came into showbiz.
She added the Wendy always try to imitate the late Ebony which is not helping the artist.
