Growing up as children, we all had our dream careers respectively but due to some reasons, most of our dreams vanished as time passed.

The above is same on the side of uprising Ghanaian Hip-hop rapper, Black Entertainment Television (BET) nominee, Kwesi Arthur.

Kwesi Arthur in an interview on Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso disclosed that his vision was to become a lawyer but due to some challenges he faced in his secondary education, he couldn’t achieve that.

According to the Tema Senior High School (Temasco) former student, he was unable to pay his school fees hence the school management’s refusal to release his West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination results to him.

“I wanted to go to the University of Ghana to study psychology and hopefully after that, I’ll go and do law. But it didn’t go as planned because while at Temasco, I had arrears to pay so I wasn’t able to see my results. I’m still owing. As I speak to you now, I still haven’t paid my fees. I’ve to go and settle them,” he disclosed to Delay while laughing.

He continued that, “I was very disturbed. I wasn’t even thinking about the future. I was wondering what I’ll be doing at the time. At that time I was still writing music so I just decided to go to this studio in my hood and talk it through with the owner to help me record beats in exchange for my service which was to be sweeping the studio.

I started recording people within a week. It wasn’t paying but that was enough to feed me because there were times people don’t come around to record. I sometimes have to fall on my parents for something small to take care of my needs”, he added.
