Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Mr. Ousman Alhaji Kwesi Nyantakyi has been handed a lifetime ban from all footballing activities by the football world governing body FIFA’s ethics committee.
The lifetime ban from FIFA handed over to Kwesi Nyantakyi came into being after being caught in ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ investigative piece or sting operation dubbed ‘Number 12’, which sought to bring to bear the deep-rooted corruption that has been associated with Ghanaian and African football as a whole.
In the documentary, Nyantakyi was caught on camera taking a bribe of 65,000 dollars from investors who wanted to invest in Ghana Football.
Mr. Nyantakyi has become a subject of troll and public ridicule on social media after FIFA dolled out his life ban sentence to him. Ghanaian comedian Akrobeto has also hilariously trolled the former GFA President on his ‘Real News’ program on UTV. He said that the FIFA ban on Nyantakyi prevents him from touching his ‘BALLS’ even when he is taking his bath.
