Journalist cum lawyer, Gabby Otchere Darko said sometime ago that he got disappointed after watching Ghanain movies. He received a lot of insults from people who are in the movie industry but that didn’t affect him at all.
In response to his comments, actress Akofa Edjeani Asiedu has advised Gabby Asare Octhere-Darko to direct all his energy into resurrecting the dying Ghanaian movie industry.
She said that Gabby, who is a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP,) should invest his money in the industry instead of criticizing it.

In an interview with Selly Galley on ‘The Premiers’ on Joy Prime, Akofa Edjeani Asiedu agreed with the comments Gabby made to some extent, but didn’t expect how the politician approached the issue.
“In a way he is right but I don’t expect that coming from him,” she said.
Gabby Ochtere-Darko’s recent comment on Facebook about the movie industry made Lydia Forson very angry and the actress also took it upon herself to put Gabby where she thought he belongs.
