Shatta Wale has come out with some annoyance over the ‘pressure’ he claims other people are putting on him to marry his baby mama, Shatta Michy.
The ‘dancehall king’ recently proposed to Michy, during the launch of his ‘Reign’ album — a proposal which we thought was designed for publicity and which was later revealed to have been exactly that.
Wale has been together with Michy for close to a decade and yet for some reason, he continues to balk at the suggestion of marrying her.
Even now that we think everything is set for the marriage, he’s still complaining and claiming he’s being pressured.
“A whole lot of Ghanaians are worried, people are just giving me pressure asking me when will you marry her? People are giving me pressure and stuff but I really want to watch God’s time.” Wale said during his trending interview last Friday on Joy Fm’s Super Morning Show.

Wale said on the show that he hopes to marry Michy sometime next year, but this talk of pressure is really setting off some alarms in our heads.
Shatta has said in the past that he does not want to get married as a young man and who knows, maybe he’s still intent on that ‘philosophy’.
Time will tell.
