Gbee Naabu Admits He Used ‘Plenty’ Juju During The Tough Times In His Career But It Didn’t Work – Of Course It Didn’t Work!

The mindset of most Ghanians make it inevitable that for many people, whenever there’s a problem in their lives they turn to a supernatural solution.

An entire society brainwashed into the power of the supernatural means for most people, the solution to their daily problems lies in either spending all their time in church or going to see a ‘mallam’ for some help the traditional way.

Neither solutions are particularly effective but belief in them means most people are more likely to seek a supernatural solution to their problems.

In the music industry, there’s been a long standing belief that some artists see juju men to try and drag down their competitors. Others also do so to try and get ahead in their own careers.

Shatta Wale, who is one of the artists in Ghana who suffered tremendously before making it, has revealed that in the years of his suffering he took to ‘juju’ for help to reestablish his career.

Wale revealed on Joy Fm that he did indeed try juju to help his career but it did not work for him.

“I have Mallams who are my friends, they send me messages. Some of them I have been telling not to send me particular messages because I know they can’t do that…The only thing juju can do is to cure malaria, hepatitis and those things. But juju making somebody famous is a lie.

“I have tried plenty of juju, I won’t lie to you and I am telling you that they can cure sickness but not to make somebody famous. Juju doesn’t work for me because I have tried it”. he said.
