For the past two weeks two of the best friends in Ghana’s music industry have somewhat turned enemies. Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale and Micheal Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie. These two guys have been friends since 2013 and have released amazing hit songs together.
Their beef started when Shatta Wale was on his “Reign Album” launch radio tour. It was there that he dissed his friend Sarkodie as a poor musician who supports Nigerian musicians more than his own people to the shock of many people.
He continued his attack on a Kumasi based radio station and went further even to say Sarkodie is a fool. Sark got pissed off and dissed Shatta heavily in a song he titled “Advice”. They have been throwing shots at each other ever since.
Ghanacelebrities.com has sighted a video on social media that proves to a certain extent that Shatta Wale’s assertion that Sarkodie is poor is true. This is so because Shatta Wale dashed the crew of Day Break Hitz on Hitz FM 1000 dollars when he visited them some weeks ago but the only thing Sarkodie was able to hand over to Jason of Ghone TV when he made an appearance on his show is a customized “Highest Cap” lol
