Progressive Countries Don’t Sideline Their Mother Tongue — Kojo Antwi Calls On Our Leaders To Prioritize Ghanaian Language

Reacting to this mentality, Ghanaian legendary reggae and Afropop music sensation, Kojo Antwi has called on the Government and education stakeholders of the nation to prioritise Ghanaian language.

Speaking in an interview with Dr Cann, “Mr Music Man” asserted that, “Progressive countries do not put their languages secondary to other countries’ languages. Our leaders should find a way to put our languages first.”

Kojo Antwi added that our colonial leaders have polluted and destroyed our history, making us feel that there will be nothing better ever to come from Africa.

“Before the diluted and polluted our history, we were progressive and civilized. Their history makes us nothing,” he said.
