TM based rapper, popularly known by his stage name Dadie Opanka born Armstrong Affum has rubbished claims that his anti-drug campaign (“Say No To Drugs and Alcohol”) has been cancelled.

Speaking in an interview on “The Zone” Show with KOD, the young rapper explained that the campaign has not been cancelled but rather paused in order for him to get enough time to promote his music career.

“The ‘say no to drug and alcohol’ campaign takes much time because we need to visit the schools and all. We’ve been on that campaign for quite some time, and we don’t get time, and we don’t get that time to do the music promo because I need the music to project what I need to do, So I need to relax, to get the music to push the agenda. People think I’ve stopped, but I have just paused,” he said.

The “wedding car” hitmaker added that “As a secular artiste, I realized the perception out there was we are bad, we are stubborn and so most grow-ups, most parents don’t want their kids to become musicians.

“So I realized we can use this music platform to preach something good. Because the kids look up to us and imitate us, so why not do something good, so they imitate that,” he said.
