In showbiz it’s easy to tell when things are planned in advance and when they’re not, especially when it involves an attention wh*re like Shatta Wale.
Wale, as we know does everything he can for attention, and considering the way he put his entire career on the ‘Reign’ album launch there is every chance it was planned from A-Z.
Shatta Michy has been with Wale through thick and thin all this while and despite repeated calls form them to settle down it’s never happened.
However, on the biggest night of his career Wale popped the question to Michy and we all groaned as we pretty much knew it was a publicity stunt to further hype the show.
Public Relations Officer of Zylofon Music, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, has pretty much confirmed that was the case and that the entire show was scripted, down to the proposal from Wale to Michy.
Speaking with Joy News’ MzGee, Baidoo said on a show of that magnitude they (Zylofon) simply had no margin for error to allow unscripted incidents to occur.

“Everything is scripted as far as I know…” he told MzGee.
“Everything is scripted and so if there was a proposal, of course, there is some scripting by part of the SM team.”
In the end, script or no script the proposal occurred, and it’s now up to Wale to follow up and actually marry Michy.
Arnold also said the scripting was part of the reason Samini and Stonebwoy could not have been allowed to perform as everything had been planned from start to finish.
