It looks like once again Shatta Wale has played everyone else like a fiddle, gotten what he wants and can now rest in peace knowing he’s still the ‘champiooon’.
When Shatta Wale was attacking Sarkodie and Kwaw Kese ahead of his ‘Reign’ album launch it was because he needed to generate attention to make his program as big as possible. Everyone knew it, including Sarkodie’s manager Angel Town who warned Wale that the better way would be to call Sark to help him rather than dissing for attention.
But dissing for attention is the only thing Wale knows works for him (all the way back to Charterhouse) and therefore he continued dissing, until Sarkodie got pissed and hit back at him with ‘My Advice’.
It generated massive media buzz and Wale responded in his own way, shouting ‘f*** your advice’ in a new freestyle and continuing to diss Sark to generate more hype.
Well the ‘Reign’ album launch is now done and Shatta Wale is singing a new tune.
As we reported, Shatta got a Mercedez Benz, ostensibly as a gift from a fan to celebrate his birthday yesterday, October 17th.
Today we’ve seen how Shatta has customized the car and it only reads ‘Advice 1-18’, a clear reference to Sarkodie’s ‘My Advice’ diss.
In the song, Sarkodie told Shatta Wale to learn to keep quiet, saying that Benz that not brag but it’s still a top top brand in the world.
So Shatta buys a Benz, customizes it ‘Advice’ and his message to Sark — ‘Advice well taken, Mercedez Benz no dey talk’.
We all know there’s no way Shatta Wale can become as quiet as Sarkodie but at least for now, he seems to be giving some big-ups to Sarkodie and ‘accepting’ his ‘Advice’.
There is a new ‘Wale’ in town, a calm one who wants to perform at ‘Ashaiman to the World’ and listens to Sarkodie.
It would only last until he needs attention once again, then everyone is fair game, irrespective of your status or what you have achieved.
