Sarkodie Just Gave The Middle Finger To All SM Fans

Over the past few weeks the fans of the Shatta Movement empire and Sarkcess Music have been at loggerheads, as hitherto two of the most friendly artists in Ghana went to war.

Shatta Wale, in the search for hype for his album launch, decided to do the only thing he knows gets him attention which is to attack others without any merit.

He lambasted Sarkodie and Kwaw as poor, unintelligent artists who are suffering in the industry because they don’t understand music and how to capitalize on showbiz.

That of course annoyed both artists and they lashed out at him culminating with Sarkodie releasing ‘My Advice’.

Since then Shatta Wale’s fans have been trying to pretend that just because Sarkodie called out their boss’ bullsh*t he is not an important piece of the Ghanaian industry.

They have fired him on social media with all sorts of insults, some saying he’s irrelevant and someone even going so far as to claim that he’s gay.

However, as anyone with half a brain, which therefore disqualifies half of the Shatta Movement, knows, Sarkodie is actually one of the most decorated artists in Ghana, irrespective of whether you like him or not.

And that has been shown with this incredible stat we just saw celebrating Michael Owusu Addo.

According to ‘Honour Africans’, a page which celebrates the best the continent has to offer, Sarkodie has won 77 awards in his career, out of 140 nominations.

These impressive numbers make Sarkodie the African rapper who has won the most awards — constituting a huge middle finger to all SM fans and their claims that Sark is irrelevant just because he responded to the idiocy of Wale.
