Social media is a cesspool filled with the most ridiculous things the world has to offer. Due to its ubiquity, it’s a powerful weapon to incite change that more often than not is underutilized.
However, one Ghanaian actress and model we’ve taken note of is Jessica Larny, who utilizes social media in a powerful way, both to promote her career and spark some much needed conversations on social issues.
Larny is an actress, model, former beauty queen and unlike some proper ashawobrities we can mention, a legit entrepreneur.
On social media, Larny sparks some necessary yet uncomfortable debates, being among other things, a n*de photo model. She tells stories with her art and encourages people to be secure in their own bodies.
A former beauty queen, Larny also runs a massage shop in Accra, the ‘Walk in Masseuse’.
It’s a position she’s held a while now and unlike some other ‘entrepreneurs’ in the industry hers is a business you can pinpoint which has been around for a while.
It’s understandable that Jessica isn’t everyone’s cup of tea because she sparks uncomfortable conversations, but she’s a fresh of breath air, a self made entrepreneur who utilizes her talents and depends on herself to get what she wants.
