Ghanaian veteran rapper Reggie Rockstone also known as the “Grandpapa of Highlife music” has stated without mincing words that he is not into music or got into music because of the financial gains.

He says music is a passion that needed to be pursued, that is how he left his well paying job Abroad to come home just to pursue it. According to him, he would have been a billionaire by now had he stayed overseas.

In an interview with Abusua FM’s Mr Karthah, he said;
“The work I was doing abroad was paying me very well and so If it was because of the money I would have stayed abroad and by now I would have been a billionaire. I just came back to do something I love and that’s music.”
On whether industry beefs does any good to anyone, he explained that since it is not physical and exclusively musical, it is healthy.
