Over the past few days we’ve been hearing all about the success story of young Erica Tandoh, the endearing young disc jockey known professionally as DJ Switch.
DJ Switch has been making the nation proud on the global stage with her appearance at Goalkeepers 2018 and meeting world leaders such as France’s Macron.
However, one person from DJ Switch’s past has emerged and is complaining that no one is giving him the credit he’s due for training the young DJ.
According to one DJ Fuad, he actually trained DJ Switch in the business and yet now her story is being rewritten to claim her parents trained her.
According to him, he’s spotted a video in which Switch said she only received some training from a ‘village DJ’ and that she had to learn everything else for herself.
Fuad spoke to Kofi TV and bitterly said he played a big part in making DJ Switch who she is today and he wants to set the record straight about that.
“I’m only granting this interview because I just want the story to be told as it is. I trained her, so that village DJ, goes to describe me, since many know I trained her. For them (DJ Switch guardians), to talk about the village DJ alone means that apart from him, nothing else contributed to where she has come thus far.”
He added that the way they are now framing her story is very dishonest.
