A group of South African virgins have disclosed that even though they are been pressured to have sex but that wouldn’t push them to get banged.

The virgins from the town Ekurhuleni have been told several myths about sex ─one of them being that the “salt” will fill up their heads making them abnormal human beings.

Interestingly, the answer they have for society is “we are not in a hurry and we don’t have salt!”

Snegugu Radebe who is of the view that staying a virgin is a personal choice said;

“I choose to remain a virgin because I want God to bless me with a man who will value me. We are often told we don’t know what we are missing out on and that we are instead accumulating salt. I advise girls not to rush into having sex. They must respect themselves. This will keep them safe from STIs”.

According to their godmother, Dumazile Maphanga, these virgins are being checked on a monthly basis to ascertain whether their virginities are still intact or not.

She said;

“If they break their virginity, they leave the group. We teach them to be vigilant and not give in to peer pressure”.
