Actress Yvonne Nelson, the political ‘Yaa Asantewaa’ of our time, has called on Ghanaians not to passionately support politicians to the extent of ‘killing themselves’ for them.

According to the actress, politicians themselves care very little for the average Ghanaian and therefore people should not think that politicians love them and thus they must fight their battles for them.

Yvonne posted on twitter on Friday: “You guys should be there killing yourselves over politicians! They don’t even know you exist! They don’t care! Be wise!”

Yvonne showed off her most political side during the NDC’s last term in office, organizing a protest against the crippling dumsor epidemic.

She has been more reserved since the NPP came to power, until this post we sighted, showing her completely losing faith in any politician on this planet.
