Gospel singer Ohemaa Mercy has become the latest in a long line of Ghanaian celebrities to be presented with the keys to a city in the United States.
Ohemaa Mercy was honoured with the keys to the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, in a ceremony held Thursday.
Mayor John Joseph Cranley made the presentation to the singer, declaring September 27th as Ohemaa Mercy Day in the City.
Ohemaa Mercy’s award was for her humanitarian work.

The gospel star is the latest in a long line of Ghanaian celebrities to win such honours which includes Abraham Attah, Shatta Wale, Sonnie Badu and Okyeame Kwame, among others.
