Ghanaian female singer, eShun has said her career as a singer wouldn’t have reached the level she has attained now if she had continued doing gospel music.
eShun told Franky 5 during an interview on Hitz FM’s show’s “This Is Gospel” that doing secular music has given her enough advantage as compared to when she was singing gospel songs in churches.
She revealed that even though she was brought up in a Christian home but she realised that when an artiste releases a gospel song, only Christians listen to it, unlike the secular songs which can be enjoyed by all the members from other religions.

“Doing only gospel music limits my talent…Christians only listen to gospel music but my songs reach out to every religion.
When you listen to the content of my music, I preach forgiveness, love, strength and these things are things being preached in church.
When you ask me where I belong I will proudly say I’m a Christian, I reach out to humanity. I preach forgiveness and it has no limitation. It’s a human language”, eShun told Franky 5.
