Ghana’s undisputed king of comedy, Kweku Sintim Misa aka KSM, a while ago handed over his ‘crown’ to the self proclaimed king of comedy, Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB).
DKB had proclaimed himself the best and KSM generously handed the title over to him.
However the intervening years have not been too kind to DKB, who seems to only make the news for flopping shows.
From the show attended by Nana Konadu to a more recent example, people are wondering whether he deserved to be handed the mantle from an absolute legend like KSM.
In a recent interview, KSM responded to the murmurs over DKB and said he has not regretted anointing him as his successor.

According to KSM, he’s ‘stunned’ that people continue to dispute DKB’s title as the king; “…It’s not as if DKB was crowned as the King of Comedy some weeks ago but I [KSM] crowned him as the King Of Gh Comedy years ago because I decided to allow him to hold the mantle.”
He added that: “I can’t take the title from him… because he’s doing great with his craft”
KSM, who has been the best Ghanaian comedian for decades now, confirmed his bow out show would come off in December.
