Uprising Ghanaian male rapper and contestant of TV 3’s Talented Kids 2010 edition, Awal Mohammed has said he is going for the MTN Hitmaker 2018 crown.
Awal’s decision to compete in the MTN Hitmaker reality show after winning a similar show hosted by TV3 has raised questions as to why the young rapper has taken that step.
Speaking in an interview on Zylofon 102.3 FM, Showbiz Agenda with Sammy Flex as the host, Awal reveals that his reason for joining the show is to win and sell his brand.
“I pulled through talented Kids and I will also win MTN Hitmaker. My brand needs to resurface,” he revealed.

He further disclosed to Sammy Flex that even though he had support after he won the TV3 Talented Kids but the support could not take him to where he wanted to reach.
“I am not entering the competition because I do not have support for my career. I did get support but it did not get me there.” he said.
