The house of MP for Asutifi South, Hon Alhaji Collins Dauda, was reportedly hit by police in a raid around dawn today.
A squad of police officers raided the MP’s house in the Brong Ahafo Region looking for him.
The ‘commando’ looking squad of officers insisted they were acting on orders from above.
A minister during the John Mahama administration, Alhaji Dauda is one of the most recognizable names in the NDC.
Minority Chief Whip Mubarak Muntaka confirmed the raid this morning on radio and said it was part of intimidation tactics being employed by the government against the minority. He said Collins Dauda’s family had been left traumatized.
