Rumours had it that legendary hiplife musician, Michael Kwabena Okyere Darko known in the music circles since 1990 as Obrafour has turned down all the attempts made by Pappy Kojo to get his voice on his track.
We began to wonder why the “Ghana rap Sofour” has not given the “Realer” hitmaker that collaboration a chance. Some speculations had it that, Obrafour has been turning down Pappy’s request because the two are not compatible when it comes to delivering music.
Some also speculated that Pappy Kojo’s songs are wack that is why Obrafour doesn’t want to feature him on a song.
Rubbishing all these rumours and speculations, the “Akwaaba” hitmaker has revealed during an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the “Delay Show” that he [Papy Kojo] has come to understand the reason why Obrafour has been refusing to collaborate with him.
According to him, he believes Obrafour has been turning him down because of the nature and content of songs he, Pappy Kojo has been producing.
“Obrafour was my inspiration and number one. I still have the same feeling about him, My whole dreadlock thing was about Obrafour. I personally think he doesn’t, want to do a song with me.
My content and his content don’t mix. You know he is more of a pastor. I think it makes sense so I don’t need to push it”, he told Delay.
