The majority leader in Parliament and MP for Suame, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, says the government appreciates that things are currently hard but they are working nonstop to get things back to a comfortable level for Ghanaians.
In recent days, the NPP government has come under immense pressure, as living conditions fail to turn around for Ghanaians despite the many promises made in 2016.
The dollar continues to appreciate against the cedi and the recent fuel price increase seems to have been the last straw for most Ghanaians.
Speaking in an interview with Angel Fm in Kumasi, the MP said government is aware of the hardships facing Ghanaians and that people have every right to be angry.
He added that they are working and that things would definitely get better.
Frankly the NPP have been disappointing in their short time in office and all they do is talk, like Hon Mensah Bonsu.
Ghanaians aren’t asking for much, you know, just that the government keep its promises — create jobs, reduce debt, ‘arrest’ the cedi — and also, not spend so much money on that ‘stupid’ National Cathedral.
Do that, and we can talk about ‘things getting better’.
