Menzgold Ghana has issued a statement addressing its ongoing stalemate with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and announcing to customers the date they expect to resume operations.
According to the gold trading firm, business fully resumes with customers on the 28th of September, 2018.
Nana Appiah Mensah’s company has been fighting the SEC over the past few weeks, with the state regulatory body calling for the company to be shut down.
Menzgold is engaged with dialogue to amicably resolve the issue, and expect everything to be resolved by the 28th.
In a statement issued Tuesday, September 18th and signed by head of communications George Quaye, the company urges calm among customers.
