The world leader in beverage production, Coca Cola, are reportedly in talks to produce a cannabis infused beverage sometime in the future.
The new product, according to reports, would be targeted at reducing pain, inflammation and cramps among its users.
The non-psychoactive ingredient found in cannabis plants, cannabidol (CBD), has long been known to possess pain suppressing abilities and coca-cola is looking at utilizing that in it’s next product.

The company said in a statement: “Along with many others in the beverage industry, we are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world. The space is evolving quickly.”
Coca-Cola are said to be in talks with major Canadian marijuana producer Aurora Cannabis to develop the beverage.
They company maintains no decision has been taken at this time, but would not confirm or deny the accuracy of reports they are in talks with Aurora.
