Ghanaian controversial Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has hinted of producing a song to honour the first man of the land, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the good works he is doing for mother Ghana.
The “Gringo” hitmaker in an interview on Abusua FM disclosed what led to the release of the song, “Mahama Paper” during the tenure of office of former President John Dramani Mahama.
“People must talk about what is happening in the society not always singing around love. People don’t want to promote us and that is what Shatta Wale has taken upon himself. You will brag I got this I got that, for me, I will sing for the people. And that is culture. That is why I’m able to do a song like “Mahama Paper”.
I want to do “Nana Paper” because Nana Paper has also come to be”, Shatta Wale disclosed.
Shatta Wale’s much-talked-about “Reign” Album is set to be launched at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Centre─La, Accra on October 13, 2018.
