Two most celebrated Ghanaian Dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been on each other’s nerves for years in the name of fighting for supremacy in the music industry.
Concerned entertained pundits and critics have tried all possible means to resolve this heat between them but has yielded no result.
However, another peace step has been taken by Casely Hayford, a member of the pressure group, Occupy Ghana has written to the Council of State to resolve the feud between the Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
According to Mr Casely Hayford, he wrote the letter to the Council State to help secure the fate of the Ghanaian entertainment industry which if care is not taken could be ruined by these two artistes.
Speaking on ‘The Big Issue’, Casely said;
“They have to really have to get into it because if we are not careful, the two will ruin the whole entertainment industry and the industry a big money earner.
I have written to the (Previous) Council of State on two issues and said that they had to deal with the GYEEDA issue and they should get the president to set up a better commission and insist on CHRAJ doing its work. They didn’t mind me and nothing was said.
So last week, I’ve written to the Council of State on a very sensitive matter which I insist they have to look into. They have to sit down and mediate between this issue going on between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
They have to really get into it because if we are not careful, the two will ruin the whole entertainment industry and the industry a big money earner”.
