The plight of actress Gloria Sarfo is the plight of almost any female Ghanaian close to or over the age of 30 — the constant questions about when you’re getting married.
Whether in church, at family gatherings and improbably, sometimes even at funerals — people would always be hitting you with the ‘big question’.
According to Gloria Sarfo, the pressure from her family to get married is becoming too much for her.
Her younger sister is already married therefore the pressure has even multiplied tenfold, she revealed on GhOne TV.
“Me personally, the one after me is married, so when it gets to the gatherings and family meetings and all that, chalie, the bashing is too much everybody,” Sarfo said.
“Especially, when you are fortunate and have good big body like me….. eei you are growing ooo, you are growing, it is emotionally stressful. The society, the pressure is too much, the pressure is too much on me”.
Sarfo recently hit the headlines after she said in an interview that she’s looking for a man to marry and her DM got hot with men chasing after her.
