It was a meeting point for two giants as Arsene Wenger visited John Agyekum Kufour at his residence.
Wenger met the former President for a courtesy call after both men had been honoured in Liberia by new President George Oppong Weah.
Wenger, who coached Monaco before going on to build a dynasty at Arsenal, was instrumental in Weah’s early years and building him into the fearsome, world’s best player he later became.
He was awarded with Liberia’s highest honour; inducted into the Order of Distinction and given the title of Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption.
Kuffour also received the The Collar of State – Most Venerable Order of the Pioneers honour.
After their adventures in Liberia, the two met in Ghana, which Kufour posted about on his twitter account Friday.
