TV Africa commenced the suspension of its on air programming, as previously reported, today September 3rd.
The station has run into cashflow problems, are unable to pay workers and after the eventful resignation of Shirley Frimpong Manso and some other top executives, decided to suspend all of its programs except news.
Early Monday morning, GhanaCelebrities.Com monitored the channel and discovered that it’s flagship morning show, ‘Breakfast Live’, has indeed been taken off air.
The station addresses the lack of a morning show as they air a movie in its place – with a ticker at the bottom of the screen which says they are taking the program off air for a while to give it a ‘unique makeover’.
At the moment it’s unclear how long this issue would last for the station which tries to make their programming reflect the African identity.
