Award winning rapper and boss of the SarkNation, Sarkodie who was recently lambasted on social media for promoting Nigeria music has disclosed why Ghanaians are not making it internationally.
According to rap god, Ghanaian artists are over concentrated on making hits that will top various charts on the radio instead of making songs that will last for a long time and cross borders.
The rapper who recently wedded his longtime girlfriend believes most Ghanaian songs are just passers-by as they mostly last for 3 months and lack basic ingredients of a good music.
This tweet comes just a few days after Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Becca and other Ghanaian artistes were snubbed by Nigerians during their performance at the Naija Invasion concert in Nigeria.

Sarkodie unarguably is one of the few artists who has made it internationally due to his kind of music and brand.
The CEO of Sarkcess Music took to his twitter page to express his sentiments on the current nature of Ghanaian music, he wrote: ” Everyone wants to make the biggest song on the radio so we moving away from just making music “
