North Hills International School Awarded at the Africa International Award of Merit

North Hills International School (NIS) in North Legon – Accra – has been honoured at the Africa International Award of Merit in recognition of its work in bringing the world into the classroom.
The body, West Africa International Press Ltd, presented NIS with the award at the recently held International Conference on Parliamentary Democracy in Africa / Awards 2018 held at the Volta Hotel – Akosombo, for the school’s immense contribution to society in the educational sector.
Speaking to the press after the ceremony, Mrs. Bertha Boamah – head of Human Relations and Communications at North Hills International School – expressed the school’s profound gratitude to the management, board of directors, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff for their hard work and diverse contribution in achieving such a feat in the history of the school.
“The school would like to add that this award should give an indication to the people out there that North Hills International School has something good to offer; and therefore all are encouraged to be a part of the unbeatable teaching and learning environment which formed part of the reasons of been offered this award,” she said.
According to her, the award is going to encourage them to do more in providing quality education in Ghana and Africa.
The awards event also saw other dignitaries and organizations like Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, Noble Isaac Duose (Rtd Appeal Court Judge), Wisconsin International University College, Blue Crest College, Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, and Noble (Dr.) Abdul Salam Akate win various awards.
