Coach Kwesi Appiah Drops Ayew Brothers And Asamoah Gyan In Blackstars Squad To Face Kenya

As the storm that recently hit the Ghana Football Association in the wake of the Anas’ number 12 expose’ gradually settles, the Ghana FA has the authority of FIFA to fulfil its various international duties.
Ghana’s National men’s football team, coach Kwesi Appiah has officially named a 21-man squad for the crucial game against Kenya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.

The squad has changed from its default form and seen some surprising changes. With Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah making a return to the team after four years of absence due to a self-imposed retirement, captain Asamoah Gyan and the Ayew brothers were conspicuously missing again.
Coach Kwesi Appiah has however handed a first National team call-up to William Owusu and Nicholas Opoku maintained his place after joining Udinese last month.
