Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, Trigmatic has stated without mincing words that he stands with the Founder and Leader of the International Christ Gospel Church (ICGC), Pastor Mensa Otabil in the misappropriation of the Ghc610 million taxpayers money by board members of Capital bank chaired by the man of God.
The rapper who was a guest on GhOne TV’s “CelebrityFanZone” show indicated that once Pastor Mensa Otabil hasn’t been fished out by any investigative body as to whether he was directly or indirectly involved in the misappropriation of the money granted to Capital bank by the Central Bank, there is no way he’s going to join the masses to call for his head.
Trigmatic added that people are calling for Pastor Mensa Otabil’s head because he is widely known but people have forgotten that Ato Forson was the man in charge during the squandering of the Ghc610 million which led to the collapse of Capital Bank.
He continued that Pastor Mensa Otabil is one of the greatest leaders in Africa judging from how he has been able to organise and manage his church (ICGC) with branches all over Ghana and beyond.
Trigmatic concluded that once the man of God has availed himself to be investigated, there is no cause for alarm and that people should tone down until proven by an investigative body that Pastor Otabil was the mastermind behind the misappropriation.
On the issue of the AMERI deal which resulted in President Akufo-Addo firing his Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko, Trigmatic fumed over how politicians in Ghana go about such deals but surprisingly, he became cautious when the discussion of Capital Bank came up.
The Mensa Otabil-Capital Bank brouhaha is still on with some financial experts advocating for the arrest and prosecution of all those involved.
