Forget FIFA's Ban Threats And Clean Up The Mess GFA Have Created — Countryman Songo

The governing body of world football association, FIFA has threatened to ban Ghana from taking part in any football-related games if Ghana government refuses to stop interfering in the affairs of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
According to FIFA, there are no clear reasons behind Anas’ “Number 12” expose’ in which some of GFA officials were caught red-handed taking bribes to fix matches.

However, Countryman Songo has opined on Hitz FM during an interview that the government should not be shaken by the threats coming from FIFA but rather continue cleaning up the mess GFA have created.

“A FIFA ban is not the end of football in Ghana… The government must not make the mistake of allowing the old order to stand. We need to face the consequences if we want the best,” he said.
