"Yawa" 'Catch' Comedian Foster Romanus As He Was Booed Off Stage At The Glo Laffta Fest

Published by

The Glo-organised Laffta Fest which came off on Sunday night at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Centre in Accra was a great one. The event was however nearly marred when the Ghanaian comedian, Foster Romanus took his turn on stage.
He started out well enough, exhibiting his singing prowess and taking off with some good jokes but suddenly made a joke about how almost all Nigerians are armed robbers.

Unsurprisingly, the joke did not go down well with the entire crowd, with both the Ghanaians and Nigerians booing him and refusing to laugh at the joke, and when some people in the audience shouted ‘away’, the comedian had no option than to exit the stage as the booing and heckling became quite unbearable.

The Glo Laffta Fest brought together some of the finest comedians in Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda, who made the night memorable for the patrons some of who flew in from Nigeria.
The only downside of the show was unfortunately with Foster, the other comedians at the Glo Laffta Fest put up great performances and gave the audience plenty to laugh at.
