Artist managers and people in music all seem to generally agree that what Ebony’s father is doing is driven by nothing but pure greed.
Another person to speak out and condemn Nana Opoku Kwarteng’s actions is Regan Mends, Hot Fm Presenter and former manager of another sensational artist who died too soon — Terry Bonchaka.
Making a point of comparison between Terry Bonchaka’s father (who he addressed as Daddy) and Ebony’s dad, Mends said Ebony’s father can clearly be seen to be motivated by greed.

“Daa (Bonchacka’s dad) was a very special man…we learned so many things from him, he wasn’t greedy like Ebony’s dad…” Mends said on Hot Fm.
“I can recall when Terry died he told me point blank that the most important thing was to see to it that Terry had a befitting burial and wouldn’t care about any concert money.” he added.
Nana Opoku Kwarteng, Ebony’s dad, has been embroiled in a tussle with her manager Bullet, claiming the latter is cheating him out of money made out of his daughter’s tribute concert and funeral.
In response, Bullet also washed his hands off any unreleased songs of Ebony, instead choosing to turn everything over to Mr Kwarteng.
