Highlife great Amakye Dede has been bestowed with a new honour as he has received the keys to the city of Worcester in the state of Massachusetts in the United States of America.
Amakye Dede received the honour after playing a mega concert in the city with his Apollo High Kings Band and for other contributions to the city.
He was presented with the keys by John Petty, Mayor of Worcester and becomes only the latest in a line of Ghanaian personalities to have been honoured by Worcester.
The performance and presentation of the keys occurred on Sunday, August 12th.

Aside Amakye Dede, other Ghanaian entertainers to be honoured in Worcester include Shatta Wale, Abraham Attah and many others.
