The Chief Executive Officer of J Black Code Events, the organizers of the Brong Ahafo Maiden Music Awards, Joshua Anemi has disclosed that this year’s event which was supposed to be held on the 11th August 2018 was cancelled due to financial restraints.
Joshua disclosed during an interview on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda with the host Sammy Flex, the CEO stated that even though they started preparing for the event about a month ago but the terms and conditions did not go in their favour.
He revealed that just a day before the event, the General manager of the Eusbett Conference Centre located in the capital of the Brong Ahafo Region came to tell him to pay 100% of the charge he demanded before allowing them to use the centre.
“We were asked to pay 100% before we could use the venue but we were only ready to pay 5% upfront and settle the rest after the show”, Joshua revealed to Sammy Flex.
