Armed robbery attacks on mobile money operators in Ghana is on the rise as another mobile money agent has been shot dead by suspected armed men.
Nicholas Essuon, 38 was gunned down at Ngleshie Amanfro, a suburb near Kasoa in the South Municipality of Greater Accra Region.
According to reports, Mr Essuon a father of 4 was attacked and gunned down by these armed men at his residence during the late hours of Thursday, July 19 2018, on his way home from work.
JoyNews’ David Andoh was there to interview the wife of the deceased.
This was what she said;
“When I came out to meet him, I saw a man loitering around and some other two people riding a motorbike. In a jiffy, the men attacked my husband and shot him in the neck.
“When I tried to shout, they warned me to shut up or they will shoot me as well”.
