It might seem disruptive to have two artists such as Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy on the same label when they are constantly on each other’s throats but Zylofon couldn’t care less.
According to the cash flush record label owned by Nana Appiah Mensah, the two can beef as much as they want but the label has no problem with that as long as they honour their contracts.
The two are the definition of enemies as they are constantly bickering and during Stonebwoy’s spat with Zylofon he made it clear being on the same label with Shatta is one of the reasons he wanted to leave.
However, Communications director Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has brushed that aside and said the label has no problem with the two of them going at each other.
“Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy don’t have to be friends and we don’t care whether they are friends or not. Besides, it is not enshrined in the contracts they signed that label mates have to be friends,” he said.
“However, we expect them to have respect for themselves and adhere to the terms and conditions of their contracts.
“So far as they are doing what is expected of them, their personal relationship isn’t our business.” he added.
